Primm Valley Resort is one of three large hotel/casino properties in Primm, Nevada. Primm, along the California border, is the closest Nevada gambling destination for many Southern California residents. The resort has 624 guestrooms and suites in a country club like theme.
Primm Valley Resort has four room styles: deluxe, one bedroom suite, two bedroom suites, and Jacuzzi suites. Rooms feature blow dryers, ironing boards, available high speed and wireless Internet, and available in-room movies. Suite rooms are large and comfortable and have a bar. Jacuzzi suites are luxurious and have oversized bathrooms with jetted tubs.
Primm Valley Resort’s deluxe room rates are typically about $35 on weekdays and $65 on weekends, depending on the season. Guests also have use of a pleasing swimming pool, much needed in the desert heat. The resort is rated as at two and a half stars. The resort also has a casino with over 1,500 slot machines as well as 33 table games, a keno lounge, and a race and sports book. It also features a Piano Bar.
The resort has three restaurants: GP’s, which combines European and American cuisines, and the Gallery Cafe, which is open 24 hours, and The Greens Buffet. The resort also has an exhibit featuring the bullet-holed car that Bonnie and Clyde were riding in when they were shot and killed. The resort is connected to the excellent Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas Outlet Mall. The resort also offers free shuttle buses between Whiskey Pete’s Hotel and Casino and Buffalo Bill’s Resort and Casino. There is also a monorail connecting the resort and Whiskey Pete’s.
Primm Valley Resort is near the Primm Valley Golf Club, which features two challenging golf courses, the Desert course and the Lakes course designed by famed golf-architect Tom Fazio. Stay and golf play packages can be purchased, which are a good deal for golfers.
